Bead-Head Fertilized Egg Fly

20131013_154058

This is one of our specialty flies! Used all around the Great Lakes this sinking semi-transparent egg with a white tail entices fish to believe it is an egg that has been fertilized and knocked loose from the redd. This is a fly you do not want to be without especially when BROWN TROUT are in the streams and sitting behind the spawning nest in gravel bars just waiting for the eggs to come floating down to them!
